I’ve always loved to travel The sound of marching gravel beneath my boots I know I’m hard to handle  And my temperament is fragile My excuse Sweetheart there’s only so far I can run  Feels like I’m lost wherever I roam I’ve been looking for a place called home It’s in my veins but my roots won’t grow I’ve been living like a rolling stone And alone’s the only thing I know I’ve always kept my distance Emotionally resistant that’s the truth I built these bridges to fall down I’ve no desire to be found By you Sweetheart there’s only so far I can run  Feels like I’m lost wherever I roam I’ve been looking for a place called home It’s in my veins but my roots won’t grow I’ve been living like a rolling stone And alone’s the only thing I know I’ve been looking for a place called home There’s only so many routes I can take There’s only so many bones I can break But you know That I’m a wandering soul Bigger than my bullet holes I’ll be running ‘til my blood runs cold I’ve been looking for a place called home It’s in my veins but my roots won’t grow I’ve been looking for a place called home It’s in my veins but my roots won’t grow I’ve been living like a rolling stone And alone’s the only thing I know I’ve been looking for a place called home

Your Song 02:48
It's a little bit funny This feeling inside I'm not one of those who can easily hide I don't have much money, but boy if I did I'd buy a big house where we both could live So excuse me forgetting But these things I do See I've forgotten, if they're green or they're blue Anyway the thing is, what I really mean Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen And you can tell everybody This is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind That I put down in words How wonderful life is now you're in the world If I was a sculptor But then again, no Or a girl who makes potions in a traveling show I know it's not much but it's the best I can do My gift is my song and this one's for you And you can tell everybody This is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind That I put down in words How wonderful life is now you're in the world

Otherside 02:49
Bled through your darkest days  Through the darkest of nights I know it’s hard to see  Through the tears that you’ve cried  But you made it through those days  And did it all on your own  I know you’ve changed your ways  I know your roots have grown  And everything tastes better  And the world seems brighter On the other side  And the grass is greener  And your head is clearer  On the other side  On the other side, you’ll make it through To the other side, an ocean of blue And I know, and I know, and I know it’s waiting there for you  On the other side, the other side It’s time to erase regret  And set sail from your sorrow  Time to forgive and forget  And be free for tomorrow ‘Cause the past is the past  And the present’s a gift  So don’t you forget  Don’t you forget  Don’t you forget how to live  And everything tastes better  And the world seems brighter On the other side  And the grass is greener  And your head is clearer  On the other side  On the other side, you’ll make it through To the other side, an ocean of blue And I know, and I know, and I know it’s waiting there for you  On the other side, the other side I know it’s hard but you can never let it pull you under I know you feel trapped within time Forget how it feels to have the world go and lose its wonder Remember where you started On the other side, you’ll make it through To the other side, an ocean of blue And I know, and I know, and I know it’s waiting there for you  On the other side, the other side On the other side On the other, on the other, the other side

Bad Habits 04:09
Every time you come around, you know I can't say no Every time the sun goes down, I let you take control I can feel the paradise before my world implodes And tonight had something wonderful My bad habits lead to late nights endin' alone Conversations with a stranger I barely know Swearin' this will be the last, but it probably won't I've got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do My bad habits lead to wide eyes stare into space And I know I lose control of the things that I say I was lookin' for a way out, now I can't escape Nothin' happens after two, it's true, it's true My bad habits lead to you Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh My bad habits lead to you Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh My bad habits lead to you Every pure intention ends when the good times start Fallin' over everything to reach the first time's spark It started under neon lights and then it all got dark I only know how to go too far My bad habits lead to late nights endin' alone Conversations with a stranger I barely know Swearin' this will be the last, but it probably won't I've got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do My bad habits lead to wide eyes stare into space And I know I lose control of the things that I say I was lookin' for a way out, but I can't escape I've got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do My bad habits lead to you Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh My bad habits lead to you Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh We took the long way 'round And burned 'til the fun ran out My bad habits lead to late nights endin' alone Conversations with a stranger I barely know Swearin' this will be the last, but it probably won't I've got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do My bad habits lead to wide eyes stare into space And I know I lose control of the things that I say I was lookin' for a way out, now I can't escape Nothin' happens after two, it's true, it's true My bad habits lead to you My bad habits lead to you Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh My bad habits lead to you

Kiss 03:37
You don't have to be beautiful to turn me on I just need your body baby, from dusk 'til dawn You don't need experience to turn me out You just leave it all up to me I'm gonna show you what it's all about You don't have to be rich to be my girl You don't have to be cool to rule my world Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with I just want your extra time and your kiss You got to not talk dirty baby, if you wanna impress me You can't be too flirty mama, I know how to undress me I want to be your fantasy, maybe you could be mine You just leave it all up to me, we could have a good time You don't have to be rich to be my girl You don't have to be cool to rule my world Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with I just want your extra time and your kiss Women not girls rule my world I said they rule my world Act your age, not your shoe size, maybe we could do the twirl You don't have to watch Dynasty to have an attitude You just leave it all up to me, my love will be your food You don't have to be rich to be my girl You don't have to be cool to rule my world Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with I just want your extra time and your kiss

about

Northern-Irish singer-songwriter Janet Devlin releases her much-anticipated EP 'It’s Not That Deep', a collection of songs (covers and originals) that emit positivity and demonstrate Janet’s personal and artistic growth. After she poured her heart out on 2020’s Confessional, Janet describes the EP as a “welcome break” to the deepness she previously explored.

'It’s Not That Deep' exists as a reflection of Janet’s career thus far, including a nostalgic rendition of her X-Factor debut with “Your Song”. In the updated cover of Elton John’s classic, Janet’s distinctive voice is as moving as it was a decade ago, demonstrating her skill in renewing songs through her own unique style. Originals “Place Called Home” and “Otherside” give an insight into her current mindset of reflection and optimism.
