You 03:51
For the secrets that you hide For the tenderness you show For the way you understand For the part of you I never know For the way you break my pride For the way you stand your ground For the way you build me up When my foolish dreams are falling down I need you after all is said and done I need you long as I’m living I need you like a river needs to run Win or lose the answer is always you When I look into your eyes I see the future and the past I see a meaning to my life From my first breath to my very last And the emptiness that comes In the cold heart of the night In the shelter of your arms Tide me over to the morning light I need you after all is said and done I need you long as I’m living I need you like a river needs to run Win or lose the answer is always you When you turn around and look at me I see All those years the joy and tears your love has given me I need you after all is said and done I need you long as I’m living I need you like a river needs to run Win or lose the answer is always you

Don't let the old man in, I wanna leave this alone Can't leave it up to him, he's knocking on my door And I knew all of my life, that someday it would end Get up and go outside, don't let the old man in Many moons I have lived My body's weathered and worn Ask yourself how old you'd be If you didn't know the day you were born Try to love on your wife And stay close to your friends Toast each sundown with wine Don't let the old man in Many moons I have lived My body's weathered and worn Ask yourself how old you'd be If you didn't know the day you were born When he rides up on his horse And you feel that cold bitter wind Look out your window and smile Don't let the old man in Look out your window and smile Don't let the old man in

I’ve always been a lucky one, or so it seems I was born when all the best was yet to be I’ve seen the birth or rock ‘n’ roll And many things no one imagined In an ever changing world of fantasy I’ve had my share or ups and downs, oh and rainy days When changing for the best was hard to see But through it all I know inside That everything would turn out alright Just as if someone was watching over me There’s an angel on my shoulder There is wonder in my eyes As the hand of father time turns another page With every new sunrise And every day as I grow older I try to be the best I can and try to understand Angel on my shoulder The Earth beneath my feet I’m a lucky, lucky man I’ve always seen the sunny side of every day And tried to keep a cheerful point of view Lucky me to find the one to love and understand me And I do believe some fairytales come true The years have come and gone And nothing stays the same The heart of me so far has never changed I still believe in rock ‘n’ roll and fairytales And looking for a smile on every face But that’s just me so here I am Waiting for a rainbow, looking for another dream to chase With an angel on my shoulder There is wonder in my eyes As the hand of father time turns another page With every new sunrise And every day as I grow older I try to be the best I can and try to understand Angel on my shoulder Watching over me to make me who I am And all I hope to be Angel on my shoulder The Earth beneath my feet I’m a lucky, lucky man

The party’s all over They’ve turned down the lights They just gave the last call But we won’t say goodnight We’ll be leaving together Like we always do Even though we stumbled a time or two I’m glad I danced with you I stood beside you It was your turn to shine Through seasons of rain I was there all the time I grew old in your arms When others wanted to Even though we stumbled a time or two I’m glad I danced with you And we go ‘round and ‘round ‘round and ‘round, ‘round and ‘round Like lovers on a carousel Spinning through time You’re my Cinderella And you’ve always been If I could do it all over I’d do it again Even though we’ve stumbled a time or two And even though the Last Waltz is almost through I’m glad I danced with you The party’s all over The party’s all over And they turned down the lights I’m glad I danced with you

Ten Guitars 02:50
I have a band of men and all they do is play for me They come from miles around to hear them play a melody Beneath the stars my ten guitars will play a song for you And if you're with the one you love this is what you do Oh, dance, dance, dance to my ten guitars And very soon you’ll know just where you are Through the eyes of love you see a thousand stars When you dance, dance, dance, to my ten guitars Guitars are made for love my band of men will always say So give them all a pretty girl and they will start to play Beneath the stars my ten guitars will play a song for you And if you're with the one you love this is what to do Oh, dance, dance, dance to my ten guitars And very soon you’ll know just where you are Through the eyes of love you see a thousand stars When you dance, dance, dance, to my ten guitars Ooh, let me tell you now Dance, dance, dance to my ten guitars Come on everybody Dance, dance, dance, to my ten guitars

about

Iconic vocalist Engelbert Humperdinck returns with the release of his special tour EP Reflections, available on November 15th, 2019 via OK!Good Records. Rather than a fitting bookend for his career, Engelbert sees his recent songs featured on Reflections as a tool of creative rejuvenation, allowing him to re-invent himself as an artist.

Reflections opens with Engelbert’s new classic, “You” which was supported by the illustrious singer’s first ever music video. The EP also features a cover of Toby Keith’s “Don’t Let the Old Man In”, “I’m Glad I Danced with You (Candlelight Mix)” which he sings with his granddaughter Olivia, “Angel On My Shoulder”, and a new arrangement of Engelbert’s classic, “Ten Guitars”.
